They so totally do though O__O?

They so totally do though O__O?

LOL but seriously though?
I am very happy with my decision to become vegan. I have never felt more fit, healthy, and balanced. I know what I am eating, I know what is in my food, and that makes me so happy.
If you don’t want to fucking know about veganism, or my personal dietary choices? Don’t fucking ask why I won’t have any of your fucking meat lovers pizza, or ranch sauce, or copious amounts of god damn pastries in my work establishment, or your fucking frappuccinos or whipped cream. If you really don’t want to hear about my dietary choice to be vegan, then just don’t engage with me on the subject.
Yes, I will let you know I am vegan a few times if the subject of food comes up, or you haven’t seen me in years and wonder how I lost the weight.. But don’t shove it back in my face as if I am doing you some sort of insane disservice by talking about my veganism. You want to eat meat? FINE. But don’t shove it in my face that I am some sort of pretentious prick with insane amount of wealth and privileged, who wants to convert everyone to being vegan.
From the reactions I get from other people when I let them know I am vegan, I almost immediately regret even fucking bringing it up, you know why? Because everyone then HAS TO start questioning where I get my protein, why they can’t live without meat, why we were designed to be omnivores and I am living a ridiculously unhealthy/unnatural lifestyle, how insane I am that I can live without cheese, and say that all of these things that really have NOTHING to do with my decision for being vegan to begin with. And honestly? Its none of your god damn business.
I don’t go around, looking for ways to make people feel like shit about their dietary choices, just so I can relate to a majority, and make a minority group feel like shit or look ridiculous when they are just minding their own. In no way, shape, or form have I ever told someone they are doing anything wrong in their personal choice to eat meat.
I don’t see how the simple fact that I am vegan somehow justifies the onslaught of disrespect and ridiculous assumptions and comments. Just let people make their own god damn decisions for their own selves. Don’t start stereotyping. That is just plain fucking rude.

i knew it was only a matter of time before the meat eaters weighed in on that picture.

i’m so sick of the “it’s classist” argument. it’s classist to assume that i, and vegans like me, came from upper middle class families. i grew up in rural bumfucknowhere (seriously the 2nd poorest county in…

Seriously though, its cheap as fuck to be vegan. Doesn’t take heaps of time to prepare your food, and isn’t secluded to only upper middle class “white” people. Your excuses are invalid, and to be honest, lazy.

I get it if you don’t want to be vegan simply because you don’t want to, that is completely fine and frankly, not my place to say what is right or wrong for YOU. But really? Don’t make excuses and somehow place me up on some level of higher privilege, simply because I chose not to eat animal products or byproducts. Because I am just another person, making dietary decisions for my own personal needs, just like you are. If you don’t want to be vegan, FINE. Just don’t discriminate against me for choseing what I have found to be the most healthy lifestyle for me.

Today at The Forest (fully vegan cafe in West End, Brisbane) I noticed they had the full Rekorderlig range. I asked the staff to confirm and yes, they are vegan! Woooo! I don’t drink very much or very often but these are delicious so I’m quite happy they are safe! If anyone does know otherwise though, please let me know.

VEGAN!!
FUCK YES I LOVE BEING VEGAN.
It is INDEED one of the best choices I have ever made in my life.
No, I will not shut up about it. Don’t like it? Then we are definitely not on the same page here ;) I love it. And this sweet nectar deserves to be sold in the united states, but until then, Perth, I miss you <3
